Welcome to the Bach Gesellschaft download page. General info about this historical edition can be found in the Wikipedia article. These books are all public domain (published 1900, 1926). To open these files you need either Lizardtech's (free) DJVU plugin or the (also free and somewhat better) WinDJVU application. The Handschrift Volume (#44), containing selected manuscript facsimiles, is not included. The index volume (BGA Band 46_index_searchable.djvu) has an OCR text layer, meaning you can conduct textual searches, to facilitate locating Bach's works. A useful HTML index is mirrored here.
